Goutam Jena, a poet of Odia Literature was born on 07.05.1959 at Arangabad of Dharmasala Block of Jajpur District He has retired from Associate Prof of Odia.He has done M.phil.and pH.D. in Literature.

He has written ten poetry books and two criticism books.
