The moniker *62 was chosen after a heated discussion at a rival baseball message board pertaining to the accomplishments of noted baseball player, Barry Bonds. Formerly known as "62MetsFan", Mr. Lowe would place an asterisk adjacent to the names of baseball's notorious steroid users, to include Mr. *Bonds.
