Sant Boi Camerata Four String Chamber Orchestra. Known as Orquesta a4 Cuerdas, it was officially born in October 2004. It is a group that operates autonomously and is made up mainly of string instruments (chamber orchestra) although occasionally it is expanded with wind instruments. The main objective is to give professionalization opportunities to young people with a level who do not yet have the possibility of participating in professional orchestras. He has had the opportunity to play in majestic spaces such as the Palau de la Música Catalana, the Petit Palau, the Crypt of Colonia Güell, the Montserrat monastery, the Cornellà de Llobregat Auditorium, the Berga auditorium, the Municipal Auditorium of Terrassa, the University of Barcelona, ​​the University of Girona, the monastery of San Lorenzo de Guardiola de Berguedà, the Atrium of Viladecans and the Torre Benviure de Sant Boi de Llobregat. Since its inception, he has taken his music to the towns of Bagà, Banyoles, Barcelona, ​​Berga, Castelldefels, Cornellà, Girona, Guardiola de Berguedà, Montserrat, Olesa de Montserrat, Sabadell, Sant Boi de Llobregat, San Clemente, San Vicenç dels Horts, Santa Coloma de Cervelló, Terrassa, Torrelles de Llobregat, Vacarisses and Viladecans. He has also played in the Basque Country and in the city of Cork in Ireland. Currently it is composed of 26 musicians with Jordi Moreno as concertmaster, plus its director in Cándido Rodríguez.
