Bapu Padmanabha is a flute (Bansuri) player following the Hindustani classical style of music. He is a Tool Engineer studied at GT&TC an Indo Danish Project for 5 years. GTTC,5 Years of Tool Engineering, Hospet. When he was studying at his 4th semester he became so much impressed by the sound of Flute, and his sister bought him a cheap Flute from a Mela a village fair.Bapu tried some of film tunes on it and he heard Bamboo Flute legend Pt.Hariprasad Chaurasia's cassette and started imitating his style in his absentia.
After practicing for years together Bapu met his Idol Guru Hariji in 1999 at Mumbai,Hariji admitted him to the classes after a short demonstration recital by Bapu.
In 2000 Bapu came to cultural city Pune to work with TACO company, soon he realized that his goal is Music ...then he left the job and dedicated his full time to Flute,Bapu is a recipient of "Panna Devi Music Scholarship"awarded by his Guru Pt.Hariprasad Chaurasia.
Bapu's Flute Enthralls the listeners from all over the World as he performed at "OSHO COMMUNE" international Pune and other Meditation groups.Listening to his music is as relaxing as Meditating.
Composed some of thematical albums and relesed Fusion,Lounge,Chanting,Healing albums also worked as a music director in kannada movies where he worked with great singers like Hariharan,Shaan etc...
