Sorin Bălan
Sorin Bălan (born June 27, 1980) is a Romanian citizen wanting to make a change in the society, with prioritization on the Romanian one. Without any significant involvement in politics until 2020, he has taken part in his first demonstration for human rights on 15th May 2020, when the emergency state declared tho months earlier citing the "Covid crisis/pandemic" made room for an indefinite state of alert. There were 3 days of legislative void in Romania between the two "special states" (emergency state and alert state), which allowed a small minority to express worries and discontent in front of the Romanian Government. The main demonstrations [1] at that time took place in Victoriei Square (Piața Victoriei) in Bucharest.
