All Talk Oncology is an american podcast hosted by Kenny Perkins (aka the Cancer Guy). It was created to help cancer patients and caregivers navigate through their cancer journey. The podcast releases new episodes every 3 weeks on Monday and is available for free on Apple Podcast, Spotify, Google Podcast, IHeartRadio, and Podbean. They empower cancer patients through insightful conversations that reinforces confidence and certainty about their cancer condition. Transforming a terrifying experience into a manageable one, by arming patients with the understanding they need, and the ability to take control of their treatments through knowledge, allowing effective interaction with their medical team.

All Talk Oncology was created so patients could come to one place and get updated discussions with industry experts and leading professionals as they navigate through their cancer journey. This platform was created not only for the patients, but for their family, friends, and loved ones or anyone wanting to know more about cancer.

History[edit]

Kenny Perkins started the podcast in April 6, 2020. The podcast has attracted a wide variety of listeners including celebrities, health care professionals, and those diagnosed with cancer. All guests share their in-depth personal experiences and knowledge that empowers the listener.


On November 30, 2020, All Talk Oncology hosted an episode "Never Give Up When Cancer Jeopardizes Family" with Jean Trebek, the wife of the late Jeopardy! host Alex Trebek where she discussed the moment her husband was diagnosed with cancer.[1]

On March 29, 2021, They hosted an episode "Finding A Way To Overcome Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma" with the former NFL running back and ESPN Analyst Merril Hoge where he shared his battle with cancer.[2]

On May 17, 2021, The podcast hosted an episode "Breast Cancer Discussion and Early Detection" with Ananda Lewis an American television celebrity and the host of the Ananda Lewis Show. [3]

On July 19, 2021, The show released an episode "How I Survived Pediatric Colon Cancer" with Celebrity Chef Ryan Scott.[4]

On October 18, 2021, All Talk Oncology released a special episode for Breast Cancer Awareness month. Celebrity guest Ms. Samantha Harris, a 2x Emmy award winner from Dancing With the Stars, Entertainment Tonight, Good Morning America, and the Academy Awards. She was also a co-host on Who Wants To Be A Millionaire? released their 22nd episode "Dancing Through The Pain of A Breast Cancer Diagnosis" [5]

All Talk Oncology was recognized as "The Top 15 Cancer Podcast" by Feedspot.[6]
