About Me

[edit]

I was born outside of Philadelphia, where I lived until I was six, but my family moved around a lot during my childhood. We spent five years in England and two years in California, before settling in New Jersey through my high school and college years.

I graduated from Susquehanna University in 2009, earning a bachelor's degree in Business Administration with foci in Finance and Information Systems. I spent two semesters abroad, one in London, England, and the other in Macau, China, during both of which I did extensive traveling. I was also a member of SIFE (Students In Free Enterprise, a business-based service organization), the Marketing Club, and College Republicans, and was a founding father of the SU Ice Hockey team

During high school and college I held the typical teen jobs of camp counselor, pizza deliveryman, and lifeguard. My professional experience began at a global telecommunications company, where I worked a Finance Internship during the summer of 2007. In summer 2009 I went on to work an IT/Retail internship at an oil pricing firm, shortly after which I moved to the Boston, Massachusetts area, where I currently live. I now work as a technology consultant within the enterprise performance management space.

I am an avid guitar player and singer, and I love listening to music and attending rock concerts. I frequent the gym and run regularly, and occasionally play roller hockey and ice skate. I own and operate two websites that I maintain recreationally, and am fascinated by all things electronic. I enjoy making full use of my Netflix subscription and spending time with my girlfriend.

Websites

[edit]

As a huge fan of Mark Tremonti and his band Alter Bridge, I own and operate http://www.marktremonti.net, and help run http://www.thealterbridgenation.com.

My personal website can be found at http://www.awhitekid.com. (Don't laugh. I haven't updated the "temporary" design since I first taught myself php/mysql in 2008.

Wikipedia History

[edit]

I generally fall into the category of "casual Wikipedian." If I see an obvious typo, grammatical error, or incorrect fact, I may correct it. Every now and then I will be inspired by a particularly poorly-written article to edit the entire thing. Other than that, I leave the more significant Wikipedia contributions to the experts.  :)
