Ammonoids surrounding an ichthyosaur

Ammonoids surrounding a skeleton of the ichthyosaur Temnodontosaurus acutirostris. The larger ammonoids in the upper region of the slab are Harpoceras falcifer. Near the bottom and to the right is a specimen of Dactylioceras. The fossil-bearing slab is about 125 x 120 cm and collected at Holzmaden, Germany.
