Aaron Casey is a former professional wrestler and promoter currently living in Rochester, NY.
Aaron Casey was born in 1972 and was raised in Penfield, NY. He has two brothers and two sisters. He graduated from Penfield High School in 1990. From there he attended SUNY at Delhi and Monroe Community College. He graduated from MCC with a degree in Communications/Media Arts.
He is a former professional wrestler and promoter. Under the name "Empire Jones" the 6'6" 290lb Casey earned modest success. He made it to the equivalent of AAA baseball and wrestled many top east coast independent wrestlers. He appeared on shows with the likes of Jimmy "Superfly" Snuka, Doink The Clown, Tito Santana and other hall of famers.
He was injured at an event in Albany, NY in April 1997 in a match against Brian "Dream" Weaver. He landed wrong on a move and ended up tearing his ACL/MCL and extensive cartiledge. Casey had extensive reconstructive surgery shortly thereafter and never resumed a full-time pursuit of an in-ring career.
Casey also promoted several independent wrestling shows under his company Universal Wrestling Alliance in 2000. The UWA promoted shows in Fulton, NY and Watertown, NY featuring national stars such as King Kong Bundy, Jimmy "Superfly" Snuka, Doink The Clown, Tom Brandi, and The Patriot. UWA utilized Danger as its champion and Jeff Starr as its local babyface star. The UWA was the first NY promotion to bring in Jimmy Snuka's son as well. Snuka Jr. can now be seen as one-half on the Deuce and Domino tag team on WWE SmackDown!
Now retired from wrestling and promoting, Casey is now an insurance agent in Rochester, NY. He is married with four children. His first child died in 2002. Casey is the current president of SIDS Support, Inc.
