[edit]I admit, I have a problem: I often spend my free time reading random wikipedia articles (and opening interesting-sounding links in new tabs). Since I spend so much time here, and especially as I occasionally notice errors or problems on pages I may be reading, I decided to create an account so that I can contribute to improving this resource.
Who I am
[edit]I'm an assistant professor of Biology specializing in Environmental Science and Ecology. I received my BSc in Biology from McGill University, where I also earned my MSc in Entomology; I earned my PhD in Ecology from Colorado State University. My personal areas of research are in the fields of community ecology, restoration ecology, and soil ecology, where I study the community ecology of insects,oribatid mites and nematodes and the impacts these animals have on ecosystem functioning.
