My interest is in understanding ancient history; the politics, religion, and the economics of the time following the resurrection of Jesus until the end of the fourth century for a novel I want to write. There is precious little source information. There are numerous writers that extrapolate from what they have found. I use Wikipedia often to begin my search for subjects such as "galley slaves" and found a large gap existed in the information available. Then I searched types of vessels used to transport grain in the ancient world. Again, I found very little. But, I am not done. Continuing the research is what novel writing is all about and, in the process, I hope I can share the research on this medium. Actxiom101 (talk) 17:35, 23 February 2010 (UTC)
