General info[edit]

Lead[edit]

[edit]

The lead is clear and talks about a few of the functions of Drumming along with the general description of what drumming is without getting too deep into what the drumming mechanics are or other sections.

Content[edit]

[edit]

Overall the content was good and had proper scientific references. There was more information in the proposed draft and I thought that most of it was relevant to the topic, new and properly referenced.

Tone and Balance[edit]

[edit]

The article has significantly improved in terms of balance thanks to your edit and the tone of the edit is neutral.

Organization[edit]

[edit]

The organization of the article makes sense, and follows a chronological order in the sense that it introduces the experiments that led to the discovery that the rear tail feather is what causes the drumming noise. The word "beed" at the start of the Drumming Mechanics section should be changed to been as it is a typo.

Sources and References

All the sources are current and functioning, backed by a secondary source of information. The links work.

Overall impressions[edit]

[edit]

I enjoyed reading this edit because it is clear that the student put forward a significant effort to improve the article. There are a few minor changes I would suggest to make to the current edit before posting. The first one is removing the quote at the end of the experimental discoveries section and replacing it with a paraphrase. The sections are balanced in terms of size. I learned a few new things and think this is an improvement over the original article.
