Alexander Garden Sinclair (19 April 1859 - 12 June 1930) was a Scottish painter.
Life
[edit]His father was the Rev. Allan Sinclair (20 March 1821 - 8 June 1888).
His mother was Sarah Emily Fraser (5 April 1825 - 25 February 1915). Allan and Sarah married on 1 February 1852 in Argyll.
Alexander Garden Sinclair, known as Alasdair, was born on 19 April 1859.[1]
He married Louisa Maryanne Stevenson (21 March 1864 - 13 October 1953) on 17 October 1905.
Art
[edit]He was a founder member of the Society of Eight.
Death
[edit]He died on 12 June 1930 in Edinburgh.[2]
