Her mother was Jane Stevenson Ronald (born c. 1816) from Glasgow. George and Jane married on 29 April 1841 in Glasgow.
Georgina Rainey, known as Ina, was born on 19 May 1851 in Glasgow.
She married William Orr (c. 1828 - 1901) from Paisley. They married on 27 July 1881 in Kilmacolm.
William was a wholesale grocer at the time of this marriage. He was a widower, and Ina was his second wife; he was 23 years older than his bride. However his deceased father John Orr was a muslin manufacturer, and so was probably acquainted with George Warren Rainey.
