Murray Macdonald (3 May 1870 - 17 June 1915) was a Scottish painter.[1][2]

His father was James Loch Macdonald (born c. 1844), an artist from Stromness in Orkney.
His mother was Jane Louden (born c. 1846) from Ceres in Fife.
James Murray Macdonald was born on 3 May 1870 in Leith, Edinburgh.[6][7][8]
