Christina Mackay (2 April 1920 - 2012) was a Scottish painter and sculptor.[1][2][3]

Life

Her father was Alexander Mackay (22 January 1880 - 21 December 1947) from Farr in Sutherland. When he died he left £5592 in his estate.[4]

Her mother was Betsy Mackay (11 November 1891 - 9 August 1957) from Kirtomy in Sutherland.

Christina Mackay was born on 2 April 1920 in Glasgow.

She married Alexander McGowan Young (12 August 1915 -) from Oban. They married on 6 July 1949 at North Kelvinside Church, Glasgow.[5]
