Started his political carrier in 1995 was a Panchayat Committee Member from 1998 to 2004.
Then from 2004 to 2009 was Deputy Chairman at panchayat Committee.
In 2009 was elected as Agriculture President (Krushi Sabhapati) at Z.P. Akola.
Nitin Deshmukh is also Known as man of its words, most popular person in his district looking at that ,Shri Uddhav Thackeray Suprimo of SHIVSENA gave him the position of District Vice Precedent in 2015.
He was involved in lot's of social activities such as :-
