AkiRoss WikiPedia page[edit]

Aki for friends, Alessandro a.k.a. AkiRoss [May 1985, Italian] is the first and original user "akiross" of the internet since 2000 (google, yahoo and msn never find one before) - after him a number of other akiross, akiros, akyross and so on followed on the net. His nickname was inspired to the scientist Aki Ross from the film Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within, as a decoration for Square Soft because they produced the most advanced CG movie since that time.

This nickname was also adopted for 3 other official reasons (but others arrived lately):

In Japanese, Aki means Autumn, which is his favourite season
Aki is Japanese, and this guy like Japan
AkiRoss (AR) Same initial of his name

This guy is actually a IT student at University of Milan Bicocca (http://www.unimib.it), in his spare time he develop OpenGL and videogame related programs, and sometimes contributing on http://gpwiki.org and http://www.gameprog.it.

He prefer to use Gentoo GNU/Linux as OS [and is member of the http://forums.gentoo.org italian community], C/C++ as programming language, PHP for web, wikipedia for every kind of stuff.

He hates Flash, dictatorship, monopoly in every form (but love that game ;).
