I was born in Greece just after the second world war. I finished my basic education in Greece and continued my studies in Germany and Austria, PhD in Science at the age of 28.

I was invited and migrated to Australia. Initially, I joined some of the largest Australian companies on a contract basis. In 1978, I joined CSIRO and did scientific research for over 20 years. I wrote over 150 open and restricted circulation reports/papers and published over 20 papers in various international prestigious magazines. Around the year 2000 I retired and moved to and live in Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia.

My main interests are: History, Genealogy, Orchids, Conservation, Nature, Fishing, Traveling & Exploring and Collecting works of Art. I also run the Non Profit Web-Site: www.orchids-world.com

Being Greek, I love Greek history and genealogy over the last 40 years, I created and own the worlds largest Greek Genealogical data base from 500 (Roman Empire) to Today. Byzantine, Venetian and Greek Genealogy. To a lesser extent European Aristocracy. It may become public after my death.

I speak Greek, English and German and I can read and understand Latin and Italian.
