How to write a good page that doesn't get deleted[edit]

  • Copy the format of similar pages (there's nothing wrong with plagiarizing style and language from elsewhere on Wikipedia!)
  • Everything needs to be supported by references elsewhere on the web
  • Any images need to be Creative Commons or in the Public Domain (uploaded to commons.wikimedia.org)
  • Include links to other pages, where relevant
  • Add links to your new page from other pages, where relevant
  • Use the "preview" button often.
  • Save often with smaller edits rather than bigger ones
  • Work on your article as a draft until it's ready
