Biography

Alyse1nm24fe, also known as Alyse, is a teenage girl from California. She is not the typical teenager you would often expect, she enjoys reading and studying Wikipedia articles, especially historical articles and biographies. Alyse currently enjoys reading about the Renaissance period and the people included, such as Henry VIII and Leonardo DaVinci, and other royal subjects such as Marie Antoinette, Sophia of Hanover, Lucrezia Borgia, and Alyse's personal favorite educational heroine and rolemodel, Elisabeth of the Palatinate. Alyse also enjoys reading articles on renaissance artists like Jan Van Eyck. When Alyse isn't reading about the renaissance period on Wikipedia, she is reading about famous people, such as actors and musicians. Alyse also has a strong background in grammar and spelling, making her a great candidate for editing Wikipedia articles.

Alyse adores the website Wikipedia and often silently disagrees with her teachers when they claim that Wikipedia is an untruthful website. Alyse finds Wikipedia very helpful but of course, like any website, thinks it could use a few touch-ups, such as the editing process. Wikipedia should only allow people to edit an article if they are logged into an account. Once the person of the logged in account has made the selected edit, staff will review it and approve or disapprove of the change, which may take a few business days. If the change was approved, it will be displayed within the article. If the change was not approved, the selected change will not be displayed within the article, and a possible email may be sent to the owner of the change, notifying them that their change was not considered. Sounds good, right?

Alyse is excited to join the English Wikipedia website, and hopes she can become as intelligent and resourceful as other editors on Wikipedia. She claims Wikipedia is "one of [her] favorite websites" and can't wait to be a part of Wikipedia's member team.
