I can see that you have gotten your feet wet on this assignment... but you are behind. The end of the semester is quickly approaching. Take some time to play with this Wikipedia assignment and to catch up.
Alyssa, you are making big changes (deleting material) without any discussion on the Talk page for the article. You need to take time to do the critique and vet your ideas before making these big changes. And make sure that you understand the difference between copyediting and substantive contributions... a copy edit corrects sentence structure, grammar, punctuation, and spelling... it does not significantly change content.
