The original drawings of how all of the creatures should look was the brainchild of Andrew Jordan, who hired Glenn Orr to make the first mould and additional moulds of all of the knockoff creatures. Orr became so enthusiastic about the project that he named the first creature off of the assembly line "IRVING".

Due to a shortage of money to make and build all of the creatures, Andrew Jordan, and Barry J. Gillis had no choice but to become a part of Orr's monster making assembly line and help make moulds, and paint all of the creatures.

IRVING was the first creature to be fully built and the only creature that could open its mouth and move it's legs, and be manipulated like a puppet. Unfortunately some of the mixtures to be used as green slime, and blood had got all over IRVING during the first few days of shooting, and IRVING was never the same again. The slow movements of IRVING'S mouth and legs in the movie, are a direct result of the mishappenings on the set.

Porn Queen Amber Lynn was paid $2500.00 U.S dollars for approximately one hour of her time on the set, and this money came from Mel Lieberman who owned the distribution company. (reference to Cinema Sewer book here)

Mel Lieberman and his Lettuce Entertain You Inc, released over 100 various titles on VHS incuding many movie titles that were in the public domain in the 1980's. Lieberman who released THINGS under his new Interamerican/Triworld line was also the first distributor to sell ITALIAN STALLIONa.k.a The Party at Kitty and Stud's
