Process of citing a source

In simple words ,firstly just make a usual edit request an any page you desire the edit request page will open with text-editor then in the above tab you can an option cite if you click on it you will that tab will below it with options like "Templates" in it. If you click on it a drop-down list will appear where you can choose options like "cite web", "cite news", "cite book" or "cite journal" after choosing an option a pop-up form will appear where you can provide your source.

Changes and solution

As we submit our edit request. It necessary for the editor to submit the source for checking the validity of edit request but the current process has too many input field plus process is somewhat time taking and difficult for beginners.

In above "source form design" you first have enter your Wikimedia username after then select the type of your source by simply click on dropdown button and select the type of source you want to enter { "URL" ,"ISBN", "images" etc.} after choosing the option from drop-down list and there is also a clickable icon is provided in input form of username where you can click for a summarized instruction for citing a source. Respective input field will appear in the form according to your choice and then you can submit the details of the form and submit it.

Also if any of your provided source is unsuitable then the whole form will reset and at the bottom of form a message will appear stating that you should try providing a different source and It will display the text "Please enter a valid source!" with a "question mark" as clickable icon for telling the user what is error.
