I am Hailey Andrew (1998 - Present) a high school graduate and community college student as of 2016 who currently resides in Marysville[1]. I plan to major in animation due to my love of the art as well as my love for making videos. I currently work part time at a “Haggen”[2] store in the floral department. I formally played the violin[3], but have had thoughts of returning to it. During my free time I like to indulge in my hobbies. Four of which include watching Japanese anime[4], reading, writing books, and writing scripts for short movies and comedic sketches.
Article Critique
[edit]I visited “The Internet Takeover” page on Wikipedia, and found three aspects of it worth commenting on: citations, age, and structure/completeness.
Citations
[edit]While looking through and verifying the links under the reference tab, I went to check references 3 and 4 and discovered not only do they lead to the same page. Both links do directly lead you to where you should be able to watch the original “The Internet Takeover” episodes as well as the #NicerInternet special. But, the special itself and original episodes are not currently available to watch on the website.
Age
[edit]After reading through all the presenters for “The Internet Takeover” radio program, I noticed that some of the people listed ether have an ambiguous or dead link. Such people as Jack Howard, Patricia Bright, and Dean Dobbs, (excluding Luke Cutforth as he doesn’t have a Wikipedia page). After looking further, I have found that some of the people listed do have a Wikipedia page, (Niki Albon and Sammy Albon and Hazel Hayes) but there is no link to their page.
Structure/Completeness
[edit](Now this is more elusive if you are not in the fan communities surrounding the presenters). Multiple presenters for the show have traveled outside of the city it’s broadcast in to take part in promotional events and even stage shows. Personally, I feel like this should at least be mentioned in the description of this page as some of those events were connected to the radio show and most had news and media coverage.
In the end, I would consider this page reliable as it does provide a majority of the information covering the subject as well as some small details. Other than updating the citations and links, (to sites where you can watch the episodes), I feel this page needs no further major edits or changes.
