Tommys pizza is a small pizza parlor in Columbus Ohio, Tommys has three locations throughout Columbus. Tommys has been serving pizza for over 60 years [1] throughout the years tommy's has been serving pizza to customers from near and far, with a wide variety of options to pick from on the menu, including sandwiches subs, Italian dinner, and of course pizza. the restaurant as an older look to in, as it has the same look as it did 60 years ago when it opened
History
[edit]Tommys pizza is one of the oldest small local pizza companies in Columbus Ohio. This restaurant had been standing and serving pizza for over 60 years. Thomas Iacono’s family emigrated from Italy moving to new york where Thomas was born. After moving to central ohio, Thomas opened up the first restaurant in1952, the countuing onto the second location starting off as a small shack on the side of the road, in Upper Arlington ohio. The final location open in 1970 on the ohio state campus[2]. This restaurant is one of the oldest in Columbus Ohio.
Awards
[edit]Tommys pizza has won multiple awards throughout the past 60 years. they have one awards including the best of bus, which is an award given out to some of the best locations, actitviy centers, and landmarks and even festivals throughout Columbus Ohio. they have won this award two years in a row, giving it a title of one of the best of bus 2017 and 2018[3]. it also Won an award for being on the list of the top 25 pizza places in Columbus ohio.[4]
Locations
[edit]Tommy's Pizza has three locations throughout Columbus Ohio. the first location Is located on Lane Ave in Upper Arlington Ohio, the second location in Dublin Ohio, and the third location is on the Ohio State campus, also located on Lane Ave.[5] These three locations opened between 1952-1970[6] two of which are on the same street of lane ave.
Menu
[edit]This menu includes many things, not just pizza. Some of their most popular dishes include the lasagna and the spaghetti and meatballs. they also have a wide verityt of subs and sanwhiches. including meatball subs, and Italian subs. Their pizzas come in a small which can rage from $12.25 to $14.50 depending on how many toppings you get. medium can rage from $14.40 to $17.40 again depending on the toppings, and large $16.00 to $19.75.00[7]. the most famous pizza is their all the way pizza which includes all of the topings that tommy's has to offer[8]
