I am a wikipedian from India, who likes to edit whatever he can in good faith and with best of intentions and with all the eternal neutrality possible.

The Wikipedia project is the best thing that has ever happened to mankind after internet and we all shall help it sustain.

Wikipedia should not be used as an advertising portal (anyone of us can sense that when the tone of neutrality is lost) there are enough listing websites, social media networks and chat applications that are available for free.

Internet is just 3 decades old, lets try to make is as spam free as possible (we are just learning). Though free websites have taught us a lot about how to use the internet I believe privacy is the next thing that we would be fighting in the next few decades of Internet and which would unfortunately move most of the good free things on it from being free to paid (for good).

I hope to see wikipedia as membership free and as advertisement free as possible for as long as possible. Wikipedia is all about altruistic techies trying to make the world a better place for generations to come. Lets try to do it right, for a perpetually growing population, that has almost tripled in the last 5 decades. We live in the most peaceful times of humanity, let's make some use of it. Wikipedia is beyond religions, currency systems and governments and that's the best part about the 31 million+ articles posted on it!
