I am an American, but have been living in Hiroshima, Japan for the past 23 years. I have an interest in many things. Sports, travel, politics, history and all things Japanese and Hawaiian. I have a particularly strong interest in American history and Miyajima history. I am considered to be more knowledgeable than most on the subject of Miyajima and Itsukushima Shrine. I also teach how to guide in English on Miyajima at the Hiroshima Prefectural University.
