Dark Magic

There are two main types of witches. Those who are known as "white witches" or "green witches" and those who are known as "Warlocks".

White witches are known to only do good magic and only use magic to help the environment and community. They use it to help others but in a natural way; such as with herbs or organic potions. Warlocks or "evil witches" on the other hand use magic for personal gain. They reach into the darkest places to get the magic they need. It's so dark and evil sacrifices are sometimes needed to trade for the unnatural magic. They can do things that good witches aren't supposed to do such as start fire with their mind or levitate people, some can even take over the body of another person temporarily.

If a White Witch kills a person he or she is automatically from there on out a Warlock. Their magic will be used for evil and their perspective of the world and everything around them will change for greed and selfishness. This can be avoided if they remain true to the witches creed or to their own green witch guidelines. Sometimes a family member or close friend of a white witch might be sick or dying and in order to save them they will have to reach into dark magic but since they're saving, not killing they will not automatically become Warlocks. They will instead be faced with insane temptation to do dark magic and more times than not will turn to dark magic and leave all good behind. That is why a true good witch, if this happens, will give his or her powers up to the Council or lock them in a totem and leave them to a relative. If left to another generation, they will only get the witches good magic and the dark magic is vanquished.
