Kilmaine married when he was relatively young and had at least one child. There is reason to believe that his wife 'Baroness de Kilmaine' died a few years before he did. There are likely numerous descendants of Jennings in Ireland, and as the pseudo-surname "de Kilmaine" (minus Jennings) survives to this day, also too in France. I never read he had any child. The "pseudo (???) surname "de Kilmaine" was given by the French State in 1830 to The 2nd Lord Kilmaine' last son, The Hon. Frederick Longworth Browne", who settled in France and still born by him descendants. It's not related to the general Jenning-Kilmaine. There is a personal portrait of General Kilmaine in the 'Hotel de Ville' (City Hall) at Tonnay-Charente: This portrait has disappeared at the end of the Sixties. Upon returning to Paris, he was awarded the title Baron de Kilmaine: Have you got any document?
