The article includes a concise introductory sentence that describes the topic and also lists the major sections. The Lead includes information that pertains to the article, yet certain portions are lengthy and include too much detail that could have been explained within the remainder of the article.

Content evaluation[edit]

The content is relevant to the topic and everything included pertains to the subject matter as well. The content is up-to-date and was last edited August 17, 2020. It does not address any historically underrepresented populations, but rather discusses the feelings about death while incorporating psychological principles.

The article remains fairly neutral, yet some ares are very narrow-minded. The religion viewpoint is underrepresented as well as the view of death among teenagers.

The article includes a wide range of sources ranging from many years. They do reflect literature and articles on the topic as well. Some sources are older such as 2011. The links to these sources appear to be working as well. They also appear to be reliable as many of the sources are from licensed psychologists and doctors.

The article is very well-written and easy to read. It is broken down into specific sections regarding the different types of anxiety and groups of people as well. It includes few grammatical errors.

Talk page evaluation[edit]

A majority of the conversation regarding this article followed the basis of religion. The religion section could be expanded on as well as the personal belief component. It is part of WikiProject Medicine, Psychology, and Death. The article explains that females experience a greater stress regarding death than males do, something we have not quite discussed in class.

Overall evaluation[edit]

The article is strong as it includes different types of anxiety related to death as well as bringing infamous psychologists and their postulates on age groups into their writing. The writing is also balanced between all points and brings in many different views about death. The religiosity section could be deleted as it would need to be expanded upon, but would actually be best made into its own article as the focus could be increased on all religions, not only a few. The article itself although is very well-developed and offers a wide range of information.
