CHAKIA MANSEHRA .................

Chakia is located to the east, 5 kilometres away from Mansehra. Mansehra is a city located in a district Mansehra of a division Hazara in the eastern part of province, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in Pakistan. Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is usually abbreviated to KPK. According to the census of 2017, the population of Chakia consisted of 7784 people of whom hundreds of earthquake victims migrated from Balakot and its suburbs to Chakia on October 8, 2005 onwards. Chakia is a fascinating village. Chakia is consists of a few suburbs, "Mera, Doraha, Upper Jabbar, Lower Jabbar, Upper Mohri, Lower Mohri, Malkana, Tatooray, Paarli Chham, Chalbootra, Koota di Bandi, Baramula, Mannu, Soka, Panju, Peengal,Dakhan etc."

The villages Chakia is bordered by are Junglaan to the east, Khushala and Haryala to the west, Safaida to the north, and Data to the south.

Main area of Chakia lies at the bottom of magnificent mountains. A bendy road leads to the mountains to a stream named "Ichhar". In summer tourists from far and wide visit the stream and enjoy all day enjoying themselves there.

The famous mountains in the village are Kotla, Sarbadi and Maas Khaai. Sarbadi is the most famous, most beautiful and the highest.

As Chakia has been inhabited long before the partition of Pakistan and India. It also has great importance historically. You can see inscriptions on the graves bearing dates of burial. In addition, you can see the trenches of the mountain named Sarbadi.
