Karma Dhendup is a Tech Entrepreneur and he founded Athang Private Limited.
Before starting his company, Karma worked for Bhutan Government's Department of IT as System Analyst and was part of the team that build Dzongkha Unicode system which was to be used for Linux and later by Microsoft Windows and other operating system like Android.
Beside Karma also volunteers as an admin for Dzongkha Wikipedia and facilitates Wikipedia trainings to beginners along with Wikimedia members from around the world.
Karma strongly believes that "success is not just about financial gain but also maintaining a strong reputation". His entrepreneurial journey marks resilience, determination, and an unwavering belief in the power of dreams that is inspiring and insightful.
Karma likes to hike the mountains and read histories.
Karma is multi lingual: English, Dzongkha, Nepalese, Hindi, Tsangla and Khengkha.
My work
Athang Private Limited builds Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software and deploy it as customized SAAS or PAAS for large to small enterprise over Cloud.
Athang also provides trainings to Tech professionals in partnership with Redhat, Cisco, Oracle, Microsoft, google and AWS (Amazon Web Services).
Karma is also a producer and director of an animated film called Ap Bokto.
