Yes, the lead has important information about Brandy Melville such as founders, origins and stores in the US.

  • Does the Lead include an introductory sentence that concisely and clearly describes the article's topic?

Yes

  • Does the Lead include a brief description of the article's major sections?

Yes, the lead has the major information that people need to know about Brandy Melville.

  • Is the Lead concise or is it overly detailed?

It is a good amount of details in the lead. However, you might be able to spread your information into a section such as History or store locations. I think it will be easier for readers to follow your information.

Lead evaluation[edit]

Over all they have a good amount of details, however, it was a little bit hard to read since it wasn't separated by categories.

Content[edit]

Guiding questions:

  • Is the content added relevant to the topic?

Yes, informative details related to the topic and a lot of references.

  • Is the content added up-to-date?

Yes

  • Is there content that is missing or content that does not belong?

I think the second to the last paragraph seems more bias since you use "I am expanding the article on the popular European clothing company, Brandy Melville." Thus, I think you might want to rephrase it to sound more neutral.

Content evaluation[edit]

Good contents, but this author might need to rephrase and make it more neutral tones.

Tone and Balance[edit]

Guiding questions:

  • Is the content added neutral?

Most parts are neutral and only second to the last paragraph is a little bit not neutral.

  • Are there any claims that appear heavily biased toward a particular position?

I thought that the controversial topic about clothing size sounds more biased than neutrally giving the information.

  • Are there viewpoints that are overrepresented, or underrepresented?

No, maybe the author could add more detail about branch stores.

  • Does the content added attempt to persuade the reader in favor of one position or away from another?

I don't think the author is trying to persuade the readers, but when this author talk about the clothing size controversial topic, it seemed trying to persuade.

Tone and balance evaluation[edit]

Over all really neutral and I think this author just need to rephrase some parts.

Yes, there are many different articles/blogs posted by several different authors.

  • Check a few links. Do they work?

Most of them work for me, but the very top link didn't work for me, but I think I need to register to read the article.

Sources and references evaluation[edit]

Using a lot of articles to support the topics.

Guiding questions:
