Biography

[edit]Axel Mazolo was born on April 13th in Kinshasa. He has four brothers and one sister.
Axel is married and a father of a daughter named Kimia.
Studies
[edit]Graduated in business administration (Bachelor's Degree) from the Haute école de gestion (HEG) in Geneva in 2011, and holder since 2018, of a master's degree in the fight against economic crime at the Haute école de gestion (ARC) of Jura.
Axel continued to improve himself with several training, including a certificate from IMD in digital transformation and a second certificate in finance at Harvard Business School (HBS).
Business
[edit]In 2016, he embarked on the creation of a restaurant named Fleurs de Lys in Kinshasa which quickly became one of the most well-known in the Congolese capital. A few months later, he founded the company Easy Axes (real estate company) in Geneva and with his brother the company Mazolo & Cie (financial company).
In 2019, while serving as an administrator of two Swiss companies operating in IT and medical field, he obtained several mandates with the Congolese government that allowed him to build close ties with the Congolese business community. With this experience, he invested heavily in areas such as transportation, real estate and mining, which quickly enabled him to make his first millions.
In 2022, he was at the head of the mining company Kimia Inc. mainly active in the Central Congo with an international presence in Dubai, Toronto, and Kinshasa.
Heritage
[edit]According to close sources, he owns a real estate park of several hectares, mainly in Kinshasa, and some assets in other countries.

[edit]In 2020, he supported the campaign of the Alternative Vernier party led by his brother, Junior Mazolo.
Women's rights
[edit]Axel Mazolo is known for being a champion of women's rights, encouraging the women he employs to take on leadership roles.
In 2021, he hired Véronique Miniensi Mayela as the Director, she became the first Kinoise to head a transportation company.
