Azeez Belgaumi

A famous poet from India with fame spread globally amongst Urdu Circles hails from Karnataka. Born on 01.05.1954 in a Village Kudchi of Belgaum District in Karnataka state India, Azeez Belgaumi, also a well know prose writer and widely published in India and other countries in Urdu News papers and Urdu Magazines.

He authored three books:

1) Harf-o-saut; 2) Sukun ke lamhouN ki tazagi and 3) Zanjeer-e-Dast-o-paa.

Former Manager, State Bank of India and also former Principal of a Junior College he is also an interviewer on electronic media and interview people belonging to various walks of life.

He is a good singer too and can be heard singing his own poetry on you-tube through searching his name "Azeez Belgaumi"
