I am a social anthropologist who writes about religion, Christianity, Jehovah's Witnesses, millenarianism and apocalypticism, evangelism and missions, the anthropology-theology dialogue, technology, language, pedagogy, and ethics and morality. I will defend my PhD at the University of Cambridge in 2021. I have a MPhil in Social Anthropology from the University of Cambridge, and a BA in Sociocultural Anthropology and a BA in Russian from Brigham Young University. Throughout my academic career, I have conducted ethnographic fieldwork in Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Russia, Vietnam, and China, primarily focusing on interreligious communication, conversion, and education. My professional website is: www.dannycardoza.com. I'm happy to collaborate on research, especially open access projects and academic blogging.
