This user Barry Downes is the grandson of the New York Artist, Jerome Myers and his artist wife, Ethel Myers. He has now discovered that his mother, Virginia Myers may have been one of the most extraordinary creative dancers that ever lived. Just recently, based on newly discovered documentation, The Virginia Myers Collection is now a permanent part of the Jerome Robbins Dance Library at Lincoln Center. I'll add a link to her Internet site titled Virginia Dances which contains a great deal of fascinating material about her.
