About me[edit]

Personal[edit]

I was born on the 21st of September 1968. I am my Dad's 6th child, my Mum's 2nd. I got hand-me-downs from Royce, Wystan, Mary, Denzil, and Aristide.

I am the crazy one - hence the Baka in my name.

Family[edit]

I met my wife Shannon in 1989, and got married in May 1993. We have 3 awesome kids, Luke, Erin, and Josh.

Shannon is fantastic. She loves castles, history, books, movies. She reads my mind, and her presence cures whatever ails me. She is my friend, my mate, and my life partner.

Luke is the man. He is a video game freak, and will no doubt find a career in that industry. His ability to master a new game in minutes is legendary. Always willing to try new things at least once.

Erin is my princess. She is very artistic, and loves drawing. Her creativity is astounding, as is her sporting abilities. Her interest in space amazes me.

Josh is my cuddly one. He loves to hug and kiss me every morning, and pushes my car out of the garage. He never goes anywhere without his bag of cuddly toys and matchbox cars. His OC characteristics are definitely inherited from me.

School[edit]

I attended
Christ The King,
St Pauls, and
Punchbowl Boys High School before graduating from the
University Of Western Sydney.

Home[edit]

I lived in
PECHS,
Lakemba,
Riverwood,
Villawood,
North Rocks,
Kellyville - almost
before moving to
San Jose CA. The heart of Silicon Valley.

Work[edit]

I worked part time at
Coles,
We Drive You,
Top Video,
Cherrybrook video (I forget the exact name - but I miss Junius)

My day job has been with several Fujitsu organisations:
Fujitsu Australia Software Technology,
Fujitsu Software Corp, and now
Fujitsu Computer Systems Corp.

I have been called a Fujitsu "Lifer".

Interests[edit]

Cars[edit]

Most people use their cars to get from Point A to Point B. I want to use my car to get from Point A to Point Z in the time that it takes others to get to Point B. :)

Acceleration is key, and is where the fun is. Top speed is just stupid, and will kill you.

Through the years, I have owned, driven, and loved:
2002 Subaru Impreza WRX Wagon - 2.0 litre. Vishnu Stage 1 bringing it up to 300 hp.
1996 Mitsubishi Lancer GLXi Coupe - 1.8 litre. Lean, dark green, with great get up and go.
1993 VR Holden Commodore Wagon - 3.8 litre. Awesome grunt - and manual to boot.
1989 Nissan Skyline Ti - 3.0 litre. Luxury, and style. Complimented by those Skyline tail lights.
1979 Mazda 121 Landau - 1.3 litre rotary. Converted from the stock 2.0 litre. Nothing like that rotary buzz.
1977 (or 1978) Mazda 121 - 1.8 litre. The mean green machine. Fat tires, hot dog exhaust, 12 slotters, lowered, weber. My first baby.

Then there were the other cars in my life:
1984 Toyota Corolla - 1.3 litre. My Dad's car. Got my license in that thing. It is still running!
1984 Mitsubishi Sigma - 2.0 litre. Found it in Darwiche's workshop. Great car for Shannon to learn in :)
1983 Toyota Crown Royal Saloon - 2.8 litre. Shannon upgraded to this. Luxury, complete with fridge, and velvet seats. I thought it would run forever, until it stopped on the freeway one day :)

Travel[edit]

Though I am getting weary in my "old age", I am proud of my accomplishments.

North America: USA, Canada, Mexico.
Europe: England, Spain, Italy, Greece, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Lichtenstein, Ireland, Hungary, Belgium, France, Holland, Finland.
Asia: Japan, Thailand, Singapore, India, Pakistan, United Arab Emirates, China, Hong Kong.
Australia: umm... Australia, dare I say New Zealand...
Africa: Egypt
South America: Not yet
Antartica: Hopefully one day.

Sport[edit]

I love sport - but have never been very athletic. I have attempted Cricket, Hockey, Squash, Volleyball, Basketball, Baseball, Golf, Ice Skating, Shooting, and even 10 pin bowling. Probably more that I am forgetting.

Squash is my favourite - though I have not played for a couple of years.

Other interests[edit]

Coke and Pepsi.

I collect Hard Rock Cafe shirts - 28 and counting. Plus a couple of fakes... Venezia, Tijuana, and even Ayers Rock (Hard Rock with No Cafe). My Rome city one got stained... anyone going there that can buy me another one...? :)

I also enjoy surfing the internet, and have wasted many hours on Wikipedia.
