About Banglar Pathshala:

Banglar Pathshala, formally known as Banglar Pathshala Foundation (No. S-10760; Year 2009), is an autonomous public organization registered under the “Societies Registration Act XXI of 1860”. The organization is engaged in creation and dissemination of knowledge. In Particular, Banglar Pathshala intends to connect the fragmented struggles of the world to propel the process of constructing an egalitarian society. The slogan of Banglar Pathshala—“Commitment to Freedom in Creativity”—signifies the philosophy of the organization. In other words, Banglar Pathshala believes that creative endeavor such as research, independent thinking, analysis and interpretation of the world are emancipatory praxis. Hence, Banglar pathshala functions to establish a nexus between epistemic praxis and public interests.

Research Centre of Banglar Pathshala:

Centre for Linguistic Research, Bangladesh (CLR,B),wing of Banglar Pathshala, is a non-profit research organization based in Bangladesh that undertakes research programs to generate knowledge with a view to empowering the oppressed class in the society. The organization conducts research on the issues/themes ranging from Language Endangerment to Linguistic oppression/discrimination and socio-economic implications of existing semiotics. The mandate of CLR,B involves resisting endangerment of ethnic languages in Bangladesh and Linguistic Oppression/Discrimination that occurs at national level. The organization conducts research on ethnic minority languages of Bangladesh from sociological perspective to contribute in formulating an inclusive Language and Education Policy. Apart from ethnolinguistic studies, CLR,B carries out research to unearth oppressive linguistic phenomena to empower the victims. The agenda of the organization encompass discovering native/indigenous pedagogic theories and research methodologies to accelerate the existing culture of rigorous research.


Pathshala Prokashon:

Pathshala Prokashon is the publication house of Banglar Pathshala Foundation. Pathshala Prokashon publishes Research Journals, Monographs and books in Bangla and English language. The following publications are now available in the market:

Shonkho Projojona:

Shonkho Projojona is the audiovisual production house of Banglar Pathshala Foundation. Shonkho Projojona produces and finances the creation of documentary, telefilm, public lecture etc. The following productions are now available in the market.
