Lesmuir United Football Club is a non professional football club based in Glasgow, Scotland. The team doesn't currently compete in any competition.
Lesmuir United F.C. were formed in August 1994 by Barry Cameron and David Wright. The club was formed with a view to creating a non professional Scottish Street League. The club's name was created using the name of the street as well as being United by other streets around with Lesmuir in it. Lesmuir United are currently the most successful fantasy club in the world. No matter what you say, they'v won at least 1 more cup than your examples.
History
[edit]The club was first thought of when Barry Cameron and David Wright wanted a bit of competition around their area. At the time in 1994, there weren't many clubs the kids could join and the ones they could join were too expensive for most families. A lot of other kids in the area had the same idea and decided to make a small league to challenge each other. This lasted around 4 years until that generation of kid grew up. No other kids in the area kept the torch burning so eventually the idea of the street league died out.
Social Media and Kit Access (2009–Now)
[edit]After the introduction to social media and the ease of access for kits, Barry Cameron decided to get nostalgic and create custom classic kits for Lesmuir United as well as create social media pages for the now non existent club. The pages garnered a few hits. He didn't stop there. He created the club in FIFA for the Playstation that had quite a number of downloads, as well as further downloads for clubs he created in the game from other streets around the area.

Stadium
[edit]Since Lesmuir United was a non professional club, they had no official stadium. Their stadium was situated inside Yoker Primary School where most of the games were played between the clubs created for the street league.
