SkuVault is a cloud-based inventory and warehouse management system aimed at helping eCommerce retailers optimize their inventory control.

Overview

[edit]

SkuVault provides small to large businesses with solutions to common problems facing retailers and eCommerce vendors. The platform offers real-time quantity synchronization to help prevent out of stocks and shipping errors, as well as to reduce human error, labor costs and order fulfilment time.[1]

History

[edit]

SkuVault was founded in 2011 by Slav Ivanyuk and Andy Eastes in Louisville Kentucky,[2] who started working on a prototype system to help retailers manage their inventory more efficiently. The company was originally named Epic, but once the platform was built, the company changed its name to SkuVault when the platform was launched in December 2012.[3]

SkuVault developed strategic partnerships with organizations such as Amazon, eBay, Shopify, BigCommerce, ShipStation and Shipworks [4][5][6] to ensure the integration of their inventory management tools with a wide range of eCommerce platforms and outlets.

Services

[edit]

The SkuVault platform enables retailers to reduce human error, track stock levels, manage kitting/bundling, sync orders, streamline operations, manage purchase orders and receiving, receive real-time inventory updates, and use full barcoding capabilities.[7] The SkuVault system is suited to businesses and organizations that are involved in raw materials production, product manufacturing, wholesale and distribution, and purchasing, among others.
