Bart King is an author and longtime middle school teacher who lives in Portland, Oregon. He is the author of The Big Book of Boy Stuff (2004), a title that distinguished itself by becoming Amazon.com's #5 bestseller. Along with his five sisters and 50 teen and preteen girls, Bart also wrote The Big Book of Girl Stuff (2006).
Oregon State University Press pulished the second edition of this author's work, An Architectural Guidebook to Portland (1st ed. 2001), an updated survey on the most admired urban environment in the United States.
In 2008, his project, A Pocket Guide to Mischief was released.
