Dazzle Vision is a Japanese rock band formed in June, 2003 and have had their current roster since 2010.[1]
As of 2012, the band has released 5 Albums, 3 Singles, and one album re-release as well as appearing on one omnibus album. Their most recent release is their album titled "KIRARI" released June 3, 2011.
They made their U.S. debut at Sakura-con 2010 in Seattle, WA [2].
Musical Style
[edit]Dazzle Vision is known for having a hard rock sound and vocalist Maiko's alternation between her soft, melodic vocals and heavy fry screaming, allowing the band to cover a wide range of sounds ranging from pop to metalcore and prompting many fans to give her the nickname "Death-Voice" Maiko.
Early in the band's history (Origin of Dazzle) they had a darker, gothic sounding style with heavy instrumentals combined with Maiko's haunting vocals. Their sound transitioned however upon their next release (Camellia Japonica) to a more pop/rock sound with a lighter tone, though still not abandoning their heavy rock sound, using both in the same album and, often, the same song.
