My name is Tanner Bakke and I am currently a Junior at The University of Wisconsin Eau Claire studying geology with an emphasis in Hydrogeology and a background in Chemistry. I have taken and excelled in our university Hydrogeology, Sedimentology/Stratigraphy, Mineralogy/Petrology, and Geochemistry courses. I created this page for an assignment for a class I am currently taking that is supposed to teach science based majors how to communicate with the general public. Our assignment is to correct Wikipedia pages that we are knowledgeable in I have choosen to redo the Wikipedia page [Geochemistry], this article needs an immediate update on the science that geochemistry covers.
