Debi Slinger is an Australian author of children's books. Her notable works include Poppy Pretzel - Passage into Puberty which was released in 2010 and Levi Sprocket - What's in my pocket? released in 2011 which also won Bronze award in the Reader's Favorite in 2012.[1] She started her career as a paralegal legal assistant for Melbourne Law firms from 1978 to 1988. In 1988 she joined Mountaincraft as a schools coordinator and worked from 1988 till 1990. In 1990 Debi started an outdoor education company called Serendipity Outdoors which she sold in 1997. In 2013 she joined the Outdoor Education Group as the Director of Outdoor Education at St Michael's Grammar School.[2][3] She has three children Yasmin (1998), Tiger (2000) and Indigo (2002) and lives in Warrandyte, Australia.[4]
