Belarus is still a place where political dissidents get assassinated and where the State Security Agency of the Republic of Belarus is still called the "KGB" and the riot police are still called "OMON", quote from the wikipedia article State Security Agency of the Republic of Belarus:

It is the only intelligence agency in Belarus that kept the Russian name KGB after the dissolution of the Soviet Union. (The "Special Riot Police," however, are still called OMON.)

This is why this is not my usual wikipedia account.
