Dockrider A dockrider is a vehicle that rides on a dock pier.

Dockrider Systems LLC invented the first dockrider in December of 2003. The first dockrider was a battery powered vehicle that traveled down the dock, guided by an aluminum rail.

The SunDock System was invented in October of 2005. It is a dock structure with no decking as a track for the dockrider, which is a guided battery powered vehicle for transporting passengers and gear to the terminal platform.
