Ruhi Raju (born 30 August 2003) is a professional badminton player from America. Having made her international debut in 2016, Ruhi rose to a career high ranking of no. 16 in February 2019. Over the course of her career, Ruhi has won medals at numerous International tournaments.Ruhi Raju trains at [1] under the guidance of Two Renowned Senior Indonesian Coaches, Yonathan Dasuki, Paisal & Senior Indian Coaches.[2] the current 2019 World Champion trains at Suchitra and mentors Ruhi.
Ruhi Raju Was Ranked as high as Number 05 in India in the Under 15 Age category in 2016. Being a USA Citizen she was not included in the Indian Team in (ABC) Asian Badminton Championship due to which she moved to USA Badminton. Ruhi won the USA Junior Nationals in 2017, Ruhi represents Team USA currently plays in the BWF Junior Under 19 age category, which is higher than her age category. Ruhi reached a career highest [3] in February 2019. Ruhi aspires to break into the Top 5 Ranking in BWF World Juniors in 2020.
