My name is Bhkwp. You can call me "B" for short. I am a brand new (but old) user.

From 1990 to about 2010, I had a lot of experience writing and editing English texts using the "APA style sheet."

For the past 8 years I have lived in Thailand, where multiple times every day I have referred to Wikipedia and The Bangkok Post for information about Thailand. I can read and write (and speak and understand) Thai at an intermediate level, and I have some background and interests in phonetics and linguistics.

I find it interesting to see how the same topic may be covered differently in the Thai and English versions of Wikipedia.

I also find it interesting to see what topics are not covered in Thai at all, and what Thailand-based topics are (or are not) covered in some other languages such as Vietnamese, Russian, German, and Japanese.
